If you do not know what vore is, please read this essay: On Vore

I became curious and decided to conduct some surveys asking for information on members of the vore community. I got about three dozen responses, and these are the results (all respondents have an appreciation for vore; please remember this is a very small demographic in a community of hundreds of thousands of people and is likely not accurate on a large scale):

Gender:

54% are male.
46% are female.

Sexuality:

56% are heterosexual, about half are male and half female.
11% are bisexual, the majority being female.
33% are asexual, about half are male and half female.
0% are homosexual (which would more than likely change with an increased demographic.)

Age:

64% are past teenage years, about half above the age of twenty-five.
36% are teenagers.
0% are pre-teen, but the majority of respondents liked vore from a very young age.

Country:

85% live in North America, the majority being in the USA.
15% live in Europe, the majority being in England.
0% live on other continents (likely to change with an increased demographic.)

Time of birth:

67% were born on time, about half are vore fetishists and half are not.
22% were born a week or earlier, a couple of which were two months early.
11% were born a week or later, a couple of which were c-sections.

Beliefs:

50% are agnostic, theist or 'other'.
25% are Christian or Jewish.
25% are skeptical or atheist.

Identity:

72% do not experience any form of dysphoria.
14% are transgendered.
14% are otherkin, all of whom are dragonkin.

Personal Preference for Role in Vore Scenarios:

43% prefer to be prey, the majority being male.
21% prefer to be observers (neither predator nor prey), about half being male, half female.
18% prefer to be predators, about half being male, half female.
18% are fine with taking on any role.

Gender Preference for Other Party in Vore Scenarios:

43% prefer the other party in vore to be female, the huge majority being male.
32% prefer the other party in vore to be male, the huge majority being female.
25% are fine with either gender being the other party in vore.

Sexual Interest:

75% have sexual interest in vore, about half being male, half female (many were also asexual.)
25% have no sexual interest in vore, the majority being female.

In addition, most who responded as having sexual interest in vore were members of Eka's Portal, while the majority who responded as having no sexual interest in vore were members of DeviantArt.

Take out of this what you will, I find an interesting link between sexual orientation and desired gender for the other party in vore, but mostly in those who find sexual interest in vore.

Though I'm no expert, the only conclusion I can really come to is that people of all types can enjoy vore in a sexual sense or other. It's hardly exclusive to men, asexuals, Christians (though I have seen far more Christian vore-lovers about, they did not reply to the surveys) or other specific groups of people, as has been theorized in the vore community before.

Whatever you get out of this, I only hope the stats are helpful and interesting. Please, let me know what you think in the comments.
